As part of the St. Rose of Lima Parish, the Early Childhood Center has been in operation since 1986.  We are accredited by the Middle States of Colleges and Schools, and are affiliated with the St. Rose of Lima Academy, a Star School of the Paterson Diocese. 

Our goal is to nurture young children through all aspects of development, emotional, social, physical, intellectual and spiritual.  Stimulated to learn through self-discovery, they are given the opportunity to participate at their own pace, to realize their full creative potential.  We provide an environment where children from 2 ½ through 5 ½ years of age feel safe and at home.   

During these early years, the foundation of self-esteem is formed.  Our programs are designed to build skills and confidence.  We encourage the development of each child’s critical thinking skills, creativity, self-expression, imagination and motor coordination, through self-discovery and a thematic approach to teaching.
